I have had to drink tap water from basically every state, and without doubt we easily have the best tasting water (unsurprisingly ). There is just something about NSW tap water I really dislike, and I would even put Victoria above it. Yep, I would have to agree with that! That's something I have even taken notice of when I've gone down to Tasmania on holidays. OK, yeah. I have previously said this to some of my mates (some of whom are originally from the mainland) and they seriously think I’m weird lol. Our water just tastes cleaner and fresh, if that makes sense! Maybe a bit dramatic, but I’ve gone out of my way to buy bottled water while in NSW at times.

Your mates are weird for thinking otherwise. Tasmania definitely does have the best quality tap water! I know this is really trivial, but noticing the quality of tap water whenever I travel somewhere is something I can't help but doing. There are differences in the quality of tap water depending on the region/state that you go to. From my experience, Sydney's quality is the worst. Speaking of bottled water, I really like the Hartz bottled water that you can buy in Tasmania. It tastes so much better than the bottled water that you can buy up here.
