I was just interested to hear other people's opinions on this logo design. Would you like to see this become Ten's new logo or do you think another logo should be designed? Personally, I think the numeric "Ten" looks great. It's a bold and confident look, something which I think would greatly improve the public perception of the network.

If Ten is to get a completely new logo, I think it needs to be entirely different and not anything used in the network's current On-Air Presentation. The "numerical 10" isn't that because it's been floating around for almost five years now.

I see what you mean, but do you think there could be a possibility that a completely new logo (one that hasn't been used in the current on-air presentation) would be too great of a risk? Ten can't afford to alienate their existing viewer base any further and if a newly unveiled logo was poorly received by viewers, it would be detrimental to the hopes of Ten progressing as a network. At least the "numeric 10" offers a sense of familiarity and it's completely different from the existing logo.

But at the same time I highly doubt the general public really care that much about what sort of logo Ten uses (at least not as much as people like us anyway) just as long as it looks professional enough and most importantly, the network is airing decent programs. Also if Ten were to make a big deal made about a logo change which turns out to be relatively minor (you'd think other media outlets would be smart enough to point out to the general public that the so-called "new" numerical 10 logo has been around for a while...if that turns out to be the adopted new logo of course), it's not entirely unrealistic to imagine people tearing that to shreds on social media!

Yeah, I see your point. However, with that said, I still believe a complete overhaul of the logo could cause a bit of an uproar among members of the public. People can be very nit-picky about things on social media and if Ten were to change to a logo which was poorly received, I'd imagine that it would garner a fair amount of attention. I guess we won't really know how the public would respond until it actually happens, of course! I agree, but then again, you can't really blame people for criticising the logo if that scenario were to occur. I know all of us media enthusiasts would tear the new logo to shreds on social media if the logo change was only minor.
