Heard a couple of students at school today say that 2016 was such a good year for pop culture. I have never understood the hype and nostalgia surrounding the year personally. Agree. I really don't understand it. I mean, if the year they were talking about was 2010 or 2011 I would understand it (I mean, that WAS eight/nine years ago). But really, 2016? It's only been three years since then. It's way too early for that kind of stuff to happen. At the very least it should be around 7-10 years after the year ends. 2016 is still very recent.

I really miss 2016 because university really made the year innovated for me. 2016 had a Pokémon snap spark around it when you think about it.

pokemon mania that summer was interesting as it brang people out of the house, around this time there was big hoopla
over people not going outside anymore
