I just remembered the clown epidemic in late 2016 when I saw a guy on Halloween wearing a clown costume. Oh yeah, I forgot about that! It wasn't just something that happened in the United States either; the clown epidemic had spread to many countries around the world. Thankfully I never saw anyone take part in it.

DON'T @ ME IKR?!!!! i would do anything to go back to that summer..summer 2016 was the best summer of my life and the best summer ever i really miss it so fucking much. i wish it was 2016 again when my grandpa was alive and i wasnt such a fuckin emotional mess and we went on road trips and traveled across the state and played pokemon go....summer 2016 was soo magical and fun ;-; summer 2017 and 2018 sucked balls

Yeah, but I guess it depends to how different your situation is now compared to then. 2016 was one of the best years of my life, yet it is so recent in my mind I just have a hard time missing it already. It's also hard to deny that 2018 has overall been a relatively more peaceful and laid-back year compared to the shitstorm of bad news that 2016 was  .

I've got to be honest, i'm starting to find myself looking back on 2015 with a bit of fondness, even though I hated pop culture at the time and I wasn't particularly in a great frame of mind. I just went back to late 2016 back when I was first in high school and had a crush on a guy in my engineering class, even though he isn't that physically attractive. I remember writing about him in my diary and stalking his family on Facebook. Late 2016 was so lit lmao.
