I hated 2016. Then again, I hate every year after 2012. Personally and culturally the 2010s to me are awful and I consider it a culturally devoid of substance. The 2010s have good cartoons and animated movies but that's about it (at least to me). Happy to see you enjoyed 2016 though, unlike I did. I agree. I have the exact same opinion as you in regards to the 2010s, except i'm personally not even a fan of the cartoons or kids/animated movies that have been popular this decade. It hurts to see shows I liked so much as a kid (e.g Bob The Builder, Bananas in Pyjamas) turned into soulless, CGI reboots. And Thomas The Tank Engine. I thought Frozen and Moana were overrated. Frozen was okay but it wasn't as good as everyone said it was. Same with Moana, which I thought was cliche. That happened with shows like Ben 10 and Powerpuff Girls, and the most hated reboot of them all: Teen Titans Go.

They have simply never gauged my interest. Most of the people in my Year 11 Society & Culture class tried to convince me to watch Frozen (because we had to do a unit of work based on Disney paraphernalia), but I resisted. I just didn't see the sense in watching two movies which are targeted towards little kids.

I should send this to GWR studios on YouTube. He would take great delight in pointing out all the goofs in this episode. You can clearly see string pulling the models and the faces are crooked in parts. Not to mention faint shadows of the creator!

2016 might be getting an atmosphere thread I would love this! I've been quite nostalgic for 2016 lately & I could really use a visual blast from the past.

It's quite shocking just how many people are nostalgic for 2016 with all of the things that happened that year.

Unless you're into sport (with all the drought breaking victories around the world), I can't see how anyone could be really nostalgic for 2016.
All I associate with those years are floods, storms, death, tragedy and the obvious major events in world politics we may never recover from.

The only good thing about 2016 was the Bulldogs winning the premiership after a 62 year drought. That would be it.

I don't get how people born in the second half of the 2000s aren't feeling much nostalgia for the mid-late 2010s while many people born in the first half do. It's odd.
