Ah okay, that's an interesting choice of artists/bands! I'm not really familiar with Alec Benjamin or Sasha Sloan, but I know the other four bands. How did you become interested in the Marvel franchise? I know you're a really big fan of Marvel and superhero movies in general, so I was just curious.

Okay so I'm a fan of the sci-fi genre and I've always enjoyed the movies but I actually got really into Marvel when the first Captain America movie premiered. Before that, I hadn't really found an interest that I absolutely loved until that movie. I've stuck with Marvel because the community is great for the most part, I mean every fandom has its flaws but it's my favorite so far. I've also found it so fun to come up with theories and discuss all of the movies with people who share the same passion for it.

Nice. It's good to hear that you have found an interest which you have a strong passion for. I really like the MCU movies as well, although I haven't participated in the Marvel fandom community. Sorry to ask you a million questions, but what do you think of the most recent DC movies, like "Man of Steel" or "The Dark Knight"? How would you compare them with the MCU movies? To be honest, i'm personally not really a fan of the DC movies, as I just don't think the casting or the movies themselves are as good as the MCU films. One thing I particularly like about the Marvel Cinematic Universe films is that they combine humour with good storytelling. They're genuinely great films and anyone of any age can take an interest in them, IMO.

Oh no worries, I am actually loving all these questions! I rarely get notifications on most sites so thanks. I'm not crazy about DC movies either. I mean, should I even mention Batman v Superman... the entire thing was so dragged out, and to me that seems to be a repeating theme for DC movies. I basically just have a strong preference for Marvel's director style and the way the characters and movie plots are written especially with the comedy bits. I feel like a big flaw for DC is the casting and Marvel definitely isn't perfect with that either but Suicide Squad? A whole mess (except for Margot Robbie tbh).

I honestly thought "Batman v Superman" was a huge disappointment. There was so much hype about there being a feature film featuring both characters and I think a lot of people had the false impression that it would be like the MCU movies, but like you mentioned, it was incredibly dragged out and Superman dies at the end of the movie, which completely goes against the comics. It wasn't a terrible movie, but it could have been a lot better than it was. I've never actually watched Suicide Squad, to be honest. The premise of the film just didn't interest me when I first heard about it, so I have never went out of my way to watch it. I'm not missing out on much, by the sounds of it. Just out of curiosity, what do you think of "Black Panther"?

Just out of curiosity, what do you think of "Black Panther"? I enjoyed it, the scenes were beautifully made despite some of the CGI work, and I thought the characters were written well. I feel like Shuri truly carried the entire movie though, she's so badass with her skills and integrity and I would love to see her given an even bigger role in the future. I know some people don't care much for T'Challa but I personally felt that he had a good character development through the movie. And with Killmonger, it's cool that we were given a detailed background story so we could understand him better (a revival would be interesting but,, anyways). I still have some questions about the vibranium and the history of it so I'm curious to see what they'll come up with to fit into the plot of the sequel.

What do you like and dislike about the US? Like: Diversity, entertainment industry, variety of food options, and safety isn't something I have to fear daily at least in my area.
Dislike: The government and education system is wrecked, healthcare is ridiculous (better with insurance but still terrible), the fact that carrying around a gun is perfectly legal but tasers aren't.

Interesting points. It's good to hear that you feel safe in the area that you live in. I'm just curious to know, since you believe that it should be legal to carry a taser, do you think there should be lesser or tougher restrictions on guns?

Tougher. Doesn't have to be drastic, but something obviously has to change and maybe that means starting with stricter licensing regulation laws or something of the sort.

I agree. Something definitely needs to change, but I just can't see it ever happening unfortunately.
