I'm pretty sure they were only popular for a few months in 2015? Either way, hoverboards were a complete flop. I think the only reason for their existence, is because it was the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future and the producers of the film predicted that hoverboards would be popular in 2015.

If I remember correctly, there were also reports of safety issues with hoverboards as well, which would have ultimately affected their success.

*Dubstep (2011-2012) *The neo-teen pop trend (2012-2017) *Vine (2013-2016) *Twerking (2013-2015) *Pokemon Go (2016) *Fidget Spinners (2017) *Emojis (whole decade pretty much) *The whole post-hipster style (aviator eyeglasses, 90's throwback fashion) that has been going on since around late 2017 is godawful. *Tide Pods (2018)

Oh god, where do I even start?
* Pro-"diversity" (aka, pro-"this is who you really are") * The alt-right * Harlem Shake * Nu-male fashion * Trap music * "Binge-watching" shows * Orange Is the New Black * Side buzzes * Viral Snapchat & Instagram photos * Cardi B * Social media petitions * Post-apocalyptic media * Gaming being a men's only club * The conniving, phony attitude in general
Probably there's much more, but it mostly links to the points I already listed.

Women in war games doesn't need to exist. None of that is the point. Yes the gaming industry is full of testosterone-fueled shooters geared mostly towards guys, but that doesn't mean women should be excluded completely. Popedia does not tolerate shameless sexism, not even offhand comments, and as such, you've been warned.

Yo what's wrong with taking a pic of yourself And the concept has been a thing since the 1800's if I'm not mistaken.

Both the selfie haters and the selfie lovers get equally obnoxious.
Tbh that’s its own trend for this decade: People obsessively hating something because others practically worship it. Not that the concept is new, but the internet has intensified the breeding ground for this behavior( on both sides).
