I used to hate 2004 but now it's one of my favourite years in music, and TV shows goes without saying. 2004 is by far one of my least favourite years for music . It was a strong year for movies, gaming and TV shows though!

The year also just seemed to have alot of depressing music. 2003 was much better.

Yeah it was, but it also became a huge viral video in 2006 to the point of being considered a consequent part of the early internet culture and the development of memes:

I heard this on i98fm (one of my local Top-40 stations) a couple of days ago. I've never been a fan of this song, but it had been years since I last heard it and it did admittedly make me feel very nostalgic for 2005.

I don't remember anything much really. That's fair enough. I'm not sure if I've asked you this question before, but do you wish that you could have experienced the Mid 2000s at an older age?

I would have to be born in 2000 or even 1999 to have significant mid 2000s childhood, and i'd have to be born in 1998/1999 at the latest to be a mid 2000s kid.

Lucky to have been a teen in the early/mid 2000s It's funny you should say that. I have often thought that it would have been good to have been a teenager during the Early 2000s and Late 2000s, however I wouldn't particularly want to have been one during the Mid 2000s. The Mid 2000s weren't a particularly great era in general though.

Every time I listen to a song off Mezmerize or Hypnotize, I feel as though I am transported back to the world of 2005. This was the album that got me interested in System of a Down. I can still vividly remember when it was brand new!

I loved the mid 2000s and thought they were great, as for the early 2000s it was aimed at pre teens & teenagers, like pop culture was custom made for my age then. It was awesome and things felt more In SYNC with the atmosphere that I was witnessing.

Does anyone else remember this movie? {Spoiler} It was released in 2005. I remember I got a board game based on this movie for Christmas back in 2005 and I also had the movie itself on DVD. To be honest, I had completely forgot about Zathura. I was only reminded of it by watching the original Jumanji movie on TV at the moment, which I have only just found out is based in the same universe that Zathura is set in. It makes sense though now that I think about it.
