People on the internet are for the most part terrible. I'm sick of the ones trying to shame me for the year I live in, for the age I am and what not in particular. Internet should be my nice way of escapism, not condensending bullshit that tries it hardest to make me feel bad for no apparent reason. YouTube's comment section is a prime example of what you are talking about.

To be honest, I hate how males are expected to be "gentlemen" and be courteous to women in certain situations. For instance, it's like when you are a passenger on a train and when there are no seats left in your carriage, you are expected to give up your seat and let the woman standing have your seat. Things like that. Isn't one of the biggest societal issues at the moment the aim of achieving greater equality between the two sexes? Why do these stereotypical gender expectations still exist? A woman having to giving way to a man would spark a huge outcry and all of the criticism would be directed at the male. Why should one gender have to self sacrifice in favour of the other? There are still so many double standards in society when it comes to how each gender is expected to "act" and you see it so often in day to day life. Another thing that particularly annoys me is when you hear of husbands who refer to their wife as the "boss" and they let their wife dictate every single aspect of their relationship. I see those traits in the relationship between my Mum and her fiance'. My Mum's fiance' hardly ever stands up for himself when they get into an argument and even when my Mum is in the wrong, he never informs her that she is, because you know, " a happy wife is a happy life". That bullshit. I'm not suggesting that the husband should be the controlling force in the relationship. Rather, i'm advocating that both parties should have an equal say on how they manage their finances, how they make decisions that affect both of them etc. Rant over.

Age significance, I honestly don't care about it. If I like a girl aesthetic wise, its difficult to not let get to you.

Men in general are arseholes. That's not to say females are 100% perfect, but I see very little redeeming qualities over the way in which most men typically act or treat others. I find them to be the most judgemental people out there in society. Think of it this way, when you hear of cases of racism or sexism in the media, is it a female who is responsible for it in most cases? I've seen so many instances over the years of men blurting out potentially offensive comments without giving any thought for others, like how many of us accuse women as being "the worst drivers on the road" or how we call other men "gay" if we see them acting in an un-stereotypical masculine way (e.g a male speaking with a lisp). Females tend to be more mindful of others and keep those type of opinions to themselves. That whole "she'll be right mate" attitude, which is pretty much an unwritten law that all males have to follow, really pisses me off too. You have to be mindful over how expressive you are or the extent to which you share your feelings, otherwise you will be immediately judged.
We are also the rudest group of people out there as well. I couldn't even tell you how many times I have seen a male not thank a person serving them while I am in the shops. Working as a school crossing supervisor, which requires me to deal with members of the public, I have found men to be the most inconsiderate people I have had to deal with. Men are the most aggressive drivers on the road as well. Just this morning, there was a middle-aged man who was sitting on my tail (even though I was doing the speed limit) and then proceeded to overtake me on the median strip. Statistics show that men commit more crimes than women worldwide. They are also more responsible for incidents of rape, murder, kidnapping and assault. This afternoon I saw a tweet which detailed how a private school in Perth has had to ban male students from the school as they were 'sack-tapping' each other; that pretty much reaffirms my low regard for males in general. Masculinity itself is toxic.

The only time I ever would is if someone acted that way towards me. It's still something I have noticed quite a lot though when I have been out and about.

I genuinely dislike the high school I go to, and I personally wouldn’t want to send my future kids there.
