It really baffles me as to how so many people can continue to make these big, sweeping statements which are so factually wrong, even though we're now living in a time where access to information is right at our fingertips. My Tafe teacher made this comment tonight about how "more people have died from the coronavirus on the diamond princess cruise ship than on mainland China". I mean, have you been living under a rock over the past month or are you just that ignorant? Over 1,000 people have died from the coronavirus on mainland China. It's not like this epidemic is just confined to a cruise ship.

I saw this Twitter thread about a couple days ago and honestly, it represents everything wrong with today’s politics and race relations.
It’s really worrisome that this Tweet received so many likes, because when you think about it, this whole “POC Space” isn’t really all that different from the “Coloreds only” of the 1950s. What’s even more worrisome is that you have self-hating white people actually defending this tweet. It’s like the whole cringeworthy “Sorry for being white” bullshit. We worked extremely hard to have whites and blacks be able to attend the same schools, be able to marry each other and be able to just be friends. Now all of a sudden there needs to be a “POC space” after all this activism and hard work? Do these people realize that this whole “POC space” is actually what white supremacists want? Have they ever stopped and realize that, if they really have a problem with white people so much that they need a so-called “POC space”, maybe it’s because they are the problem?
If Martin Luther King Jr was still alive, he’d be disappointed in that tweet. I think I now understand why people are saying we are socially regressing. And I know people love to blame Trump, but when you think about it, the far lefts obsession with race and “POC spaces” and anti-white bullshit is probably the reason why white nationalists/supremacists have started to rise. They’re a backlash to the SJWness of the mid-2010’s, and both sides have only gotten extreme since Trump became president.

I hate people who deliberately choose not to acknowledge someone showing compassion towards them and their situation, especially when it's a person you don't know on a personal level. A simple thanks would be nice, it's not hard. You're not entitled. The compassionate person doesn't have to be empathetic.

I cry crocodile tears for YouTubers when they whine and complain about demonetization. It's no secret that YouTube is a mismanaged shitshow that plays favorites and is random as all hell over what it's willing to promote. Why anyone would be stupid enough to make that their sole source of income is beyond me. There's no benefits, no retirement, the chances of success are absurdly low, and you're a few controversies and an algorithm switch away from losing everything you've ever earned with the addition of your face and information plastered all over the internet. We're in the midst of a pandemic where millions of people have lost loved ones and their livelihoods and I should feel sorry for some NEET adjacent youtuber/streamer?

It shouldn't be the case of what I like or dislike though. The generation sub-board will stay for as long as people continue to find the topics interesting and choose to participate in them.

Men in general are arseholes. That's not to say females are 100% perfect, but I see very little redeeming qualities over the way in which most men typically act or treat others. I find them to be the most judgemental people out there in society. Think of it this way, when you hear of cases of racism or sexism in the media, is it a female who is responsible for it in most cases? I've seen so many instances over the years of men blurting out potentially offensive comments without giving any thought for others, like how many of us accuse women as being "the worst drivers on the road" or how we call other men "gay" if we see them acting in an un-stereotypical masculine way (e.g a male speaking with a lisp). Females tend to be more mindful of others and keep those type of opinions to themselves. That whole "she'll be right mate" attitude, which is pretty much an unwritten law that all males have to follow, really pisses me off too. You have to be mindful over how expressive you are or the extent to which you share your feelings, otherwise you will be immediately judged. We are also the rudest group of people out there as well. I couldn't even tell you how many times I have seen a male not thank a person serving them while I am in the shops. Working as a school crossing supervisor, which requires me to deal with members of the public, I have found men to be the most inconsiderate people I have had to deal with. Men are the most aggressive drivers on the road as well. Just this morning, there was a middle-aged man who was sitting on my tail (even though I was doing the speed limit) and then proceeded to overtake me on the median strip. Statistics show that men commit more crimes than women worldwide. They are also more responsible for incidents of rape, murder, kidnapping and assault. This afternoon I saw a tweet which detailed how a private school in Perth has had to ban male students from the school as they were 'sack-tapping' each other; that pretty much reaffirms my low regard for males in general. Masculinity itself is toxic. I'm sorry you feel this way about males, I really do, but I want you to understand this. Misandry is NOT the way to go. You, and feminists in general, can't go around expecting to solve sexism with more fucking sexism, nor say "OMG YOU'RE A MAN YOU'RE SO PRIVILGED". Sigh, look, MEN ARE NOT AS FUCKING PRIVELEGED AS YOU, OR FEMINISTS MAKE US OUT TO BE. And I get that you're a man too, but I can't just say a bunch of things without backing it up, right? *sigh*, here come the statistics. For starters, whilst it is true that men commit more murder than women, men are also more likely to be VICTIMS of murder compared to women. Most murders are convicted by men, on other men. But what's more damning is that when women are murderers, guess who they kill? Other women? Nope, they kill men.
Now whilst it is true than men are also more likely to rape and be perpetrators of domestic abuse compared to women, you have to keep in mind that men vastly underreport cases of rape and domestic abuse. This is for a variety of factors, whether that's out of shame, or because said double standard exists which, worst-case scenario, could get the male ARRESTED because the police assumes they're the ones being the abuser. The actual truth is likely closer than it may seem. Men also tend to be put in jail at a higher rate than women do. Not only that, but in terms of health, men are FAR worse off than women are. We have lower life expectancies, and have a higher risk of developing illnesses. The recent COVID virus is one example. Whilst women have higher rates of depression than males, we also tend to be affected more by suicide than women. And when looking at all this, our likelihood of being affected by violent crime, our lower life expectancies, our higher likelihood of going to jail, our greater risk of contacting disease including COVID, our lower college education rates, and our inability to speak up when we ARE affected by crimes like rape and domestic abuse, do I feel privileged for being a male? Because to be completely and totally honest here, no, I don't. I understand that women have tons of problems too, such as the gender pay gap, higher likeliness to be a victim of rape and domestic violence as already mentioned, twice as high depression rates, and dealing with sexual harassment from creeps who only care about sex and appearance instead of them as people, but men also have problems, albeit, different ones. Now as for men being rude, it looks like you're only citing anecdotes here, which is not a good way to gauge whether men are ruder or not. Women can DEFINITELY be rude and judgmental too. Just go watch Mean Girls, or look up the hundreds if not thousands of stories of obnoxious and rude Karens out there. I get that you have to deal with lots of rude people because of your job. Retail sucks in general, but just go look up reports of retail workers being berated by women, and you'll find hundreds if not thousands of examples. Both men and women can be abusive, but in different ways. Men are usually more physically abusive, whilst women are generally emotionally or verbally abusive, which can be just as damaging. Women, especially feminists also stereotype men as well. You already mentioned the whole "men are aggressive" stereotype, which isn't true at all. There's also stereotypes surrounding aspects such as men being sex-obsessed, not asking for help, being tough, and should make money for the household instead of chores. These stereotypes are incredibly damaging and debilitating to not just men, but also women as well, as it forces societal expectations on all of us for what our roles should be. Racist women are MUCH more common than you realize. www.buzzfeednews.com/article/lindagordon/how-women-in-the-kkk-were-instrumental-to-its-risewww.buzzfeednews.com/article/shannonkeating/amy-cooper-white-women-racism-george-floyd-racial-justiceBoth historically, and currently, we've seen women do things from helping build the KKK, to calling the police on black men for minor offenses. Sure, you hear of more reports of racist men, but that doesn't mean that you should assume women are non-racist and non-sexist, when they often are. For the record, don't take this the other way. I am definitely not a misoygnist, as I definitely know men can also be racist and sexist assholes, but I'm also saying that women also can be, and that gender really does not play any difference in whether somebody will be a good person or not. Men have birthed figures like Martin Luther King Jr and Abraham Lincoln, whilst women have birthed figures like Rosa Parks and Mother Teresa. I have noticed that you are struggling with humanity in general, with a misanthropic bent to some of your posts. I also know you have recently taken a break from this website and social media in general, perhaps due to your bad relationships with others. I know you probably won't read this either, but I just want to say this. Get some help. We're all here for you, and you're not alone in this world. Just because you had some bad experiences with people, we can be sure you don't have bad experiences on here.
