September 13, 2000? On that particular date, I think people here in Sydney were pretty excited for what was to happen on Friday and for the fortnight or so after... You're right! Can't believe I didn't even think of that. :S Also, welcome to the forum! I don't know if it was accidental or not, but I notice that you made your username completely in lowercase (i.e "sydneycitytv" instead of "SydneyCityTV"). If it was a mistake, i'm more than happy to change it, so you can have it how you normally have it, because I know that you have the letters "S", "C" and the word "TV" in your username in uppercase on your Twitter profile and YouTube channel. Thanks. I'd appreciate it if you could change it to "SydneyCityTV" as it is elsewhere online but if you can't, no big deal!

I would make you feel old really! On NYE 2009 I was a year and half No offence, but you do make me feel old. 2009 still feels like yesterday for me. Haha, same. I feel really ancient now compared to you SkittlesCat ! Haha (it does a little tbh), I was 1.5 years old on 3rd August 2001 . On that day, there was a bombing in London, the Princess Diaries film was released and the U.S. President signs into law the Iran and Libya Sanctions Act of 2001. (Just some random info I found lol) Interesting! I was 1.5 years old on the 13th September 2000. I don't think anything noteworthy happened on that day. Yeah, that day was just a nonevent and all! 😜😂

I'm not sure exactly what the 2020s will be like, but one thing I know for sure is how crazy it is that we are under two years away from 2020! It's crazy because throughout my childhhod in the 2000s and even the early years of this decade, 2020 felt like such a futuristic year that was light years away lol, like I remember just after I started primary school in early 2005 we had to write a story about what we think the world will be like in 2020. I remember saying there would be flying cars and dinosaurs everywhere and that we could choose what planet we wanted to live on haha, so to realise that were almost there is crazy and scary at the same time

Even now, 2020 still sounds like it's light years away and not less than two years off! It's interesting how the perception of time changes over the years. The 2000s are really starting to feel distantly removed from the present time. It's strange to think of the 2000s that way, because I remember the decade so well and it really doesn't feel like it was too long ago. I mean, I can't believe my childhood started 16 years ago! It's unbelievable.

I don't even want to think about them, given the age I will reach at some point in them!
