Are any of you ravers? What do you think of raves, and would you ever go to one if you haven't already? My next rave is on Saturday and it's for Seether so it's gonna be absolutely wild (well its at a rave venue so I assume it's gonna be similar)

I have only been to a live concert once before and that was when I went and saw Linkin Park back in 2007. The only other concerts I have been to are The Wiggles and Disney on Ice.

Seether is a band I'd love to see some day, but you're describing a rock concert, not a rave. Very different things. For one thing Seether's music is hard rock, the type of thing you might headbang to, not dance to. From what I understand raves involve a dj playing loud dance music and there are constant blinking lights and people dance to it. I've been to a regular old dance club one time and had a few drinks and had fun, but that was it.

From memory I was about 8 or 9 at the time. Not that I have them now unfortunately, but I remember my brothers and I keeping the popcorn and drink containers which had all the artwork on it. I’ve been to few a different events over the past years, with the last one early last year with Icehouse.

It's a shame that you and your brothers no longer have the popcorn and drink containers from the show, but I guess it would be easy to throw something like that away without giving it a second thought. I don't think I own anything from when I went to see the show (at least not that I can think of), unfortunately. Icehouse would have been great to see live! What are your favourite songs of theirs? My personal favourites would have to be "Can't Help Myself" and "Walls".

Perhaps my parents threw them out. Not sure... It was their 40 Years tour. They went to a few of the regional cities on that one and luckily Hobart was on their schedule. In not particular order: “Can’t Help Myself”, “Electric Blue”, “My Obsession”, “Great Southern Land” and “Crazy”. 🙂

It's lucky then that Hobart was included on their schedule, because as you would know, most bands generally don't include Tasmania as part of their tours.

Most businesses and the like classify Hobart (well, Tasmania generally) as regional Victoria. So yes, the state does more often than not miss out on the bigger tours. Good thing Melbourne is only an hours flight away! 😛
