A thread to share any song lyrics you have composed.
 I used to make my own hypothetical CDs and songs when I was 5-8 years old. Here is a song that I wrote back in 2007. Maybe i'm reading into it too much, but I actually think that "Different Worlds" is somewhat symbolic, almost as if there is a hidden message behind it.

Echoes Of You
I'm on my own now, that much is clear. So why do I feel as though you're still here? Wherever I turn, in all that I do. All that I hear are echoes of you. And it's such an empty sound, I can't escape they're all around and I am drowned by echoes of you.
Each day is the same now that you're gone. Your memory is all I have to live on. Where did I go wrong? What was it I said that tore our love to a tattered shred? I just don't know what to do since you informed me that we're through. My only view is echoes of you.
Since you went away, nothing's been right. I've cried myself to sleep every night. My life is a wreck, I can't concentrate. Can't seem to lift myself from this state. I keep thinking that you care and that our love once more we'll share. But all that's there are echoes of you.
Whatever I do, I can't get free. I'm imprisoned by your sweet memory. I'm caught in a trap with nowhere to turn while in my eyes the tears start to burn. Then I realise what's wrong. Though I have known it all along. I'm still among those echoes of you.
I have been writing songs since the age of 15 and that was a long time ago so there are plenty more where that came from, believe me!
