Do you ever just listen to a song and the first thing that comes to mind is the station that you often hear the song on? In many cases, the frequent airplay on a radio station can ruin the listening experience of a song. It can become harder to appreciate a song on it's own artistic qualities, without thinking about the context surrounding the song itself. What are some examples of this topic that you can think of?
Here is one station that I would like to focus on in particular:
Triple M:
* "Remedy" - The Black Crowes (Triple M loves this song). * "Beds are Burning" - Midnight Oil * "Better" - The Screaming Jets * "Back in Black" - AC/DC (or any AC/DC song, for that matter)
To anyone who is unfamiliar with the station, Triple M is an Australian rock station which plays a mix of "classic" and "modern rock" songs. Our radio stations are formatted differently to the ones in the United States. We don't have designated "classic rock" and "modern rock" stations here; on Triple M, you can hear a song from the '80s on the station and the song that comes on immediately after that could be the Foo Fighters, for instance.

Nope. Now that I think about it, it was actually Love Radio.

Another overplayed Mix 106.3 song would be Naked Eyes' "Always Something There To Remind Me".
