I just saw this article on TV Tonight and I thought it might be an interesting idea for a thread. What do you hear Grover, a character on Sesame Street, say in this clip? "That's a f**ing excellent idea" or "that sounds like an excellent idea?"
I've listened to this a couple of times now and I only hear, "yes, yes, that's a fucking excellent idea".  Edit: If I listen to the video with "that sounds like an excellent idea" in mind, I can hear that instead.

I don't hear "that's a fucking excellent idea" at all.  I tried playing it over and over again but I just can't hear it. edit:Also just noticed this is my 400th post!

It depends which one you are trying to hear. I can easily hear both.

Grover definitely says “That's a f**ing excellent idea" in that video. I have absolutely no doubts on this one.

It depends which one you are trying to hear. I can easily hear both. I can’t. All I hear him saying is “f**ing”, which is so inappropriate might I add. Think of the kiddies!

That's what I think as well. I actually think the "yes, yes, that's a fucking excellent idea" line is a form of subliminal messaging. Both lines are said in the video, IMO.

Haha, either way the debate will no doubt be a long one like “that dress” from a few years ago and the "Yanny or Laurel" months ago. I don’t usually care for these “internet visual/audio illusions” that fascinate masses but..
