I think SharksFan99 has found his theme song! Baby Shark has 2 billion views on YouTube and is climbing up the Billboard Charts. Could this be a sign of early 2020s culture? If so I'm here for it to be honest.

That song has been gaining momentum over the past couple of months. In the UK, it actually entered onto the Singles Chart way back in August and it has been gradually rising on the iTunes Charts across the world since then. To be honest, i'm not convinced that it is a sign of Early 2020s culture. I think it's success is purely as a result of it being a novelty song and it will likely be remembered as being one of the biggest fads of 2018/2019 (and the Late 2010s in general). I have my doubts that it will be associated with the Early 2020s. The only chance of that happening is if children's music suddenly takes over the Top-40 charts like Trap has. All that aside, why is it even popular anyway? What's the appeal in it? I think it's stupid. Thank goodness it hasn't (yet) entered the ARIA Top-50 here in Australia.
