I have always wondered if anyone here has had a crush on a cartoon character or even a real person, so I made this thread.
My childhood crush was Casey, the purple-haired character on my profile picture. When I was 5/6 I thought she was cute. When I grew up I started to have a crush on Misty as a 7/8 year old. lol

Oh yeah for sure both! My biggest cartoon crush was Danny Phantom... oh my god I was SO obsessed. And then there was a classmate I had a crush on, that was honestly a pretty obvious crush, and I remember I would draw hearts around his picture in the yearbook and like my whole family knew about it basically haha.

I don’t ever remember having a crush on a TV cartoon character (or anyone on TV for that matter).  I did have a few real life crushes while going through school etc however. No more information is forthcoming.

I had a teenage crush on a celebrity if that counts (not avatar, hadn't heard of him then). Don't understand what I ever saw in him now!

Not sure how it works for others, but I've tended to imagine who I would like if I were a character in the show. That goes for friends too. It's kind of like when somebody's cute for an old person, a parent, a dog, whatever, and you're like, "If I were a bitch, I would pick him as a puppy boyfriend!" .....is this unusual?

Misty was so perfect personality and aesthetic wise. Aki Izayoi from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's had me in my 20s, bruh. She was the last most recent fictional crush I had in 2010.
