Australia Day Forum ContestApologies for the very short notice; I only got the idea for this a few minutes ago. Tomorrow (the 26th January) is Australia Day, and to celebrate the occasion, I thought it would be interesting if we had a forum content based on how good your general knowledge of Australia is! The first few questions will be easy, but they will get harder as the voting form goes on. Here are the rules for the contest: * The person with the most correct answers will win the contest. The winner will be awarded a custom title for their mini-profile and a mystery prize. The member who has the 2nd most correct answers will also receive a minor prize. More information on that will be available shortly. * Cheating is NOT ALLOWED. That means, you can not use Wikipedia or the internet to give you the answers to the questions. If it is determined that you have cheated, your voting sheet will not count. It can appear obvious if someone has cheated, so please do not consider doing so. * The contest will close at these times:Pacific Time - 5am on Sunday, 27th January US East Coast Time - 8am on Sunday, 27th January AEDT - Midnight on Monday, 28th January NZDT - 2am on Monday, 28th January If you have any questions about the contest, please let me know. Otherwise, best of luck! goo.gl/forms/BFslMZaEyzeXGCF53

It's the Australia/Austria joke I think when you mentioned that Australia was the birthplace of man-eating spiders, it didn't come across to that effect because it's actually true; we do have man-eating spiders! It's no joke.

Then again, I probably shouldn't make fun of Slowpoke's attempted joke, because my jokes aren't any better (i.e that joke about longaotian needing a quarter more of a friend).

Everything I know about Australia comes from "Finding Nemo", "Bindi the Jungle Girl", and most importantly, the late 1990's Mary-Kate and Ashley masterpiece, "Our Lips are Sealed".
