September 2008 and November 2016 were the big ones I remember. It was like I got whiplash, the change was so sudden.

March 2020. Biggest of my life up to this point.
Aside from that, I'd say 1993 and 2001, but those are minute compared to 2020.

The second half of 1998 felt like a different or second phase or period however you see it or call it, compared to mid to late 1997 to mid 1998 with enough things cementing a change. 1999 was the peak of the second phase that started in 1998 and late 1999 also had significant incoming 2000s vibes. 1999 as a whole feels quite different that than the world of spring or autumn 1997 to spring/summer 1998 regardless of overlaps, similarities and continuations from 1997 to Jan to Summer 99 Pretty much 100% agree with that. It was more Mid/Late 1997 - mid 1998 that felt like it's own sub-era.. May 1996 to August 1996: Transition August/September 1996 to February 1997 : Stage 0 March to August 1997: Transition August 1997 to May/June 1998: Part 1 May/June 1998 to August 1998: Transition August 1998 to April 1999: Part 2 May 1999 to September/October 1999: Part 3 October 1999 to Feb/March 2000: Final March 2000 to July/August 2000: Last real gasp I actually think the second half of 1992 felt so different than earlier periods. That 1993 was no surprise. Both late 1994 and 1995 in general already had a chunk of foreign incoming new and late 90s elements that weren’t as surprising in 1996 when they were a bit more visible. The only exception is 1999. 1999 had more changes that felt they came out of nowhere compared to 1997 and 1998 so it makes it a bigger shift.

I think it was loosebolt? oh wonder why he deleted, or maybe banned ? It was because of an argument between him and slashpop on the board “2021 Palestine Conflict.”

oh wonder why he deleted, or maybe banned ? It was because of an argument between him and slashpop on the board “2021 Palestine Conflict.” That’s not confirmed nor justified on any level whatever it could possibly be and it wasn’t an argument or anything personal at all. It was a political topic discussion and the focus was on human rights, occupation claims to land when they are strategically downplayed or ignored...I’m just defending their rights, having worked in an NGO, studied the subject and having literally met people who have been hit hard, and it was totally civil and respectful dialogue and there wasn’t any heated moment so it’s not accurate to say he left after “an arguement” with slashpop because there wasn’t a problem and his decision is not rational or related to me or anything I said because I said nothing wrong/rude nor was there a problem. If somone has a problem with normally and respectful discussing the problem with denying Palestine rights to the point where they leave that’s called extreme behavior and irrational decision and no one has that right to blame, somone else or assume things or make it seem i did anything whatsoever to cause that because that is totally illogical unacceptable bullshit i will not tolerate whatsoever as I have nothing to do with this decision and it is not certain why he left, most nostagia sites are getting stale lately as well . i literally enjoyed the guy on here, agreed with a lot he said even in these discussions !
