I know this is a pretty random idea for a thread. I got the idea for it after looking across to the side table next to my recliner a few minutes ago and noticing the empty glass placed on top of it. Do you like having ice in your drinks?
I voted yes. I love having a nice, cold glass of Coke with ice, regardless of the time of year. I also have ice with orange juice sometimes as well.

I voted no, because I don't drink straight away and to me ice ruins it after a few minutes, but that's just my opinion.

Ideally it's cold without the ice. I prefer water with ice though.

I think one drink that ice does go really well with is Coke. I'm not sure if you have the same opinion or not, but I often find Coke on it's own to be too fizzy, so I like having ice with it as it waters down the drink. I like how McDonalds and Hungry Jacks sell Coke which is filtered down.

Yes and no. I don’t mind having a few cubes of ice in my soft drinks when the weather is warm, but what I don’t get is how anyone likes having them in their orange juice and the like. I have been to places who do exactly this and it just ends up becoming very watered-down and tasteless for mine. Each to their own I guess! Intriguing thread by the way.

I voted no but it's fine in some drinks. Like a mixed drink, which I rarely have. Not only does it water it down, but ice is usually made from dank tap water that adulterates the drink's taste overall.

Having blocks of ice in orange juice is nice! It makes the drink seem less "orangey". Ah well, as you said, each to their own. Just as a side note, I've noticed that you have changed your avatar. It wouldn't happen to be inspired by a certain "long ocean", would it?

Not only watered-down, but in a way you get ripped-off that little bit with more ice with less room for the actual drink content (which is why most places dining out do exactly this). It wouldn't happen to be inspired by a certain "long ocean", would it? No, it makes the drink a disgusting watered-down mess! I prefer to have nice full-flavoured orange juice not something diluted. Besides, as I mentioned above, restaurants, takeaways etc almost always put a load of ice in the drinks as the know then there’s less room for the actual drink content they need to use. You get ripped-off. No, has nothing to do with longaotian actually. But I can see why you thought that. It’s something I’ve found while watching some YouTube videos the last few days. I thought it looked good.

Ah okay, that's fair enough. I thought for sure it was intended as being some sort of reference to longaotian, especially with the dog ears and the tongue sticking out (like Mr Smiley).

It wasn’t my intention but I’ll gladly run with that if you want! Maybe longaotian should be using this instead?

I have tried it once before though (it was when I accidentally poured milk into my glass instead of coke) and it was a pretty horrible combination. Definitely won't be doing it again. That could be a good idea! Although, it all depends on whether or not longaotian likes Percy.

Or if he even knows who Thomas, Percy, Henry, James, Gordon or even Sir Topham Hatt actually are.

Yep. It was awful. I think longaotian most likely knows who Thomas and the Gang are. There's no excuse if he doesn't, lol.
