I just realised yesterday from @captianman97 that you lived in New Hamsphere. I know Massachusetts is a very wealthy and educated state. Idk about NH and Maine. Yes I pretty much live "between" Maine and Mass. The schools aren't bad in terms of quality of education, but because there's no sales or income tax, they are mostly operating on property taxes collected by the town. This make budgets a bit tight, though it's going to vary by district. NH does offer free online school which is nice, like Florida does. Maine does loan students technology to use, though I'm not sure if it's really "better" otherwise.

When did Vitamin Water become the cool drink? Like 08/09 maybe? It's hard to say. I've never really thought of Vitamin Water as being something that has ever been widely popular, to be honest, although it has definitely increased in popularity over time. If I were to guess, I'd probably say that it began to become more popular around 2009/2010.

Look what I found at the Michael’s checkout Almost $5 now lmao. If you didn’t spend 2001 sneaking one of these up on the grocery store checkout when you’re mom wasn’t looking then what even was your life? Though honestly they were kinda gross. Cheap chocolate with sweet tart like candy in the middle? Meh. Now kids can film unboxing videos I guess.

They been back for a while. I bought one of those back in 2016. I probably hadn't seen them since the grocery stores in my area are trying to eliminate check out candy. They don't look like they have good flavor to them They do not. I used to compare the little candies to to Flintstones vitamins. And that was the "good" part.

I totally agree with mwalker Haha Hot Cheetos were in and the starburst candy. Cold drinks/soda were exciting and mythical. A lot of common foods like noodles and box paste were better in the 00s. I think the 2000s are really the last time hamburger helper was relevant.
