It depends on what you mean by "wildest". I guess if I had to pick, it would probably have to be 2007. It was the year where I first started to develop romantic feelings for someone and I went to see Linkin Park at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

I have never even traveled overseas before. tt was five countries, actually. I travelled to India and Pakistan every year as a kid to meet relatives. I don't remember what I did over there in 2001 in particular though. If you include the stop in London (to get to Asia from Toronto, you had to stop at London or other transit hubs back then) that would make six countries. It was just the airport though, and Heathrow Airport is quite unremarkable. Actually, I liked Heathrow in the very early 2000s since it had a McDonald's, but they got rid of it sometime in 2002/2003, and my childish pallette could not stand it The New York airport (I believe it was JFK) was the best. It had an arcade! I made friends there even though I only stayed for a few hours. We were playing hide and seek at the airport and my mom was sobbing uncontrollably because she couldn't find my brothers and there was this crazy geriatric lady who was feeding her stories about how she lost her kids at the airport and never saw them again

It was 2006 for me, right smackdab in the middle of my teens. All those hormones.

It was 2006 for me, right smackdab in the middle of my teens. All those hormones. That year was the least wild for me. As a 13 year old I just played Runescape, World of Warcraft, Bootleggers (browser text game) and other video games all day and night However, in late 2006 when I lived near downtown Toronto, I did start going out, riding my bike and taking public transport without parental supervision, which was exhilarating at the time and opened up a whole new world for me.

I heard Toronto was like Disneyland in the 2000s lol Really? In my opinion the city didn't really come alive until after the Recession. The city today would be unrecognizable to my 2005 self though, for sure. The population of Toronto was 5.5 million in 2006, and was 6.4 million in 2016. You can really feel that additional million people/almost 20% growth of the last 10 years; the city feels a lot bigger.

I remember like around 2006 my friend wanted me to visit and said people were doing drugs in the street and it was like the wild west full of teens
