What do you think you might do to celebrate New Years Day 2020? Will you catch up with friends, go and see the fireworks in your local area, throw a party etc.? Are you looking forward to the 2020s?
I'll most likely celebrate NYE in the same way that I normally do each year. I might go and watch the 10pm fireworks at Shellharbour, but other than that, i'll probably just spend the night at home with my Mum and her fiance'. Definitely won't be doing anything extravagant.  To be honest, I can't say that i'm overly keen about entering into the 2020s. I am looking forward to the novelty of living through a new decade, however that will soon wear off and life won't be any different to what it's like now.

I'm surprised that you can't actually buy them in the shops, to be honest. The novelty factor would be appealing for a lot of people.

OMG! We are already talking about heading into 2020s? We haven’t even gone through 2 full months into 2019 yet. 2019 hasn't exactly been too eventful so far, so that's why it's better to focus on heading into the 2020s instead.

Well we're less than 4 months away now from the start of the 2020s, so I thought that it might be worth reviving this thread. Anyone have any plans for new years eve? I can't see my plans changing, to be honest.

Not only did it bring the 90s to an end but the whole 1900s era. Some may even say it brought an end to the 20th century and a started a new millennium, but I disagree. I just don't know what to expect from this New Year's since a lot of people disliked this decade and want to move on to see what the 2020s will bring out.
