This is one of the best single releases of 2019 IMO, it's such a great homage to Britpop and the song itself is genuinely good too. It's a shame it wasn't a bigger hit. Omg I love this song too. I wish it charted in the top 10.

This is really one of the most unique EDM hits of the 2010s. You can't really pinpoint on what genre of EDM this is but it is fantastic.

This is really one of the most unique EDM hits of the 2010s. You can't really pinpoint on what genre of EDM this is but it is fantastic. I think you can easily tell it's British EDM, but it's indeed hard to pinpoint which subgenre exactly (I think it's close to UKG but not quite that) and it is a very creative song for sure.

This was Rihannas last electropop hit of her career. Not really, that would be "This is what you came for"

This was Rihannas last electropop hit of her career. Not really, that would be "This is what you came for" That's future house. I won't call it electropop. Also fun fact about Rihanna, she released a dubstep song in late 2013. Didn't do too well in the charts, but it's interesting at least

They're are both eletronic dance synth-heavy pop songs, "electropop" is an incredibly arbitrary and misused term so TIWYCF does qualify as a electropop song, making it her last Electropop song Electropop isn't just any electronic synthy dance music, otherwise Donna Summer's 1977 "I Feel Love", Madonna's 1984 "Like a Virgin", Ace of Bass' 1994 "The Sign" and pretty much any eletronica song with vocals would be electropop which makes no sense. Electropop is defined by its abrasive and dense production style, synth hooves and many influences from electrohouse. TIWYCF doesn't have any of those, it's a future house song with clean, simple drum kicks through and through.

It's cool how ATW is the most remembered track from Red now than the 3 Max Martin singles of the time. Probably because those sound very much of it's time.
What do yall think of the 10 minute version?

If you were to play ATW in public i guarantee you the majority of people wouldn't recognize the lyrics, you'd only have a few deranged swifties singing
Play all the other hit songs from RED and everyone knows the lyrics

I just noticed the infamous video clip to this bubblegum masterpiece just turned 10 a few days ago! Happy birthday to this perfection (except for the uglyass Tumblr-y filter)
