As seen in the eyes of John Titor
. Was the hottest summer of the 2000s ( Heatwave of 105 degrees)
. Wrestling was pretty good, Batista was huge, Matt Hardy invasion storyline with Edge.
. Wild West feel, this summer had a ( k.i.d.s the movie feel) people were outside roaming and getting into mischief.
. Blockbuster was packed every day, EVERYDAY........................
. Wifi becomes widespread, Flat monitors for computers become the norm.
. Toonami was on saturdays at this point, GT had just finished airing and they were showing DBZ uncut around 11 pm I recall.
. MYSPACE....... everyone was on Myspace everyone was checking Myspace and all you ever thought about was myspace top 8.
. don't Phunk with my heart from BEP is played nonstop
. Just a little bit from 50 Cent is played everywhere, infact 50 cent is peaking right now and would never get bigger
. Rihanna drops Ponce De Replay and everyone thinks she will not last
. Bad Day by Daniel Powter is played every day on the radio and MTV & Fuse.
. Energy Drinks explode. AMP in particular gets really huge this summer.
. Peak of Von Dutch (it would fade later that fall)
. The 80s are back, Vh1 is going crazy with it's 80s obsession, it hits the culture hard
. LIVE STRONG yellow bracelets
. IPOD nano is huge
. My Windows XP computer got a virus, threw it on the ground and bought a new one.
. I did not sign off AOL Aim ever
. T-Mobile Sidekick is the first time we have the feeling SmartPhone
. Cingular Wireless sucks ass at this time
. MTV is going into overdrive with its reality shows
. That 70s show starts declining in popularity
