This was something I was thinking about while listening to the radio on my way to work this afternoon. There are just some voices which are synonymous of the era in which their music was hugely popular on Top-40 radio. For instance, you could say that Kurt Cobain's, Eddie Vedder's and Liam Gallagher's voices are synonymous with the Early-Mid '90s and the 1990s in general.
Whose voices would you say are the "defining" voices of the 2010s? What does a typical 2010s singer sound like?
Here are a couple examples I can think of:
Ed Sheeran: You could make a very strong case for Ed Sheeran as being the voice of the 2010s. Ever since the release of "The A Team" back in 2011, he has been one of the leading figures in the music industry and he is arguably still in his peak.
Khalid: This might seem a bit left-of-field, but I feel as though his monotonous, baritone voice is representative of the overall downbeat nature of pop music during the Late 2010s.

Adele. 😍 Was having an Adele binge last night haha. Yep, I agree with that. Speaking of Adele, i'm not sure if you or anyone else has noticed this, but does anyone else think that Adele has declined in popularity over the past year or so? I haven't heard her name mentioned in the media at all for quite a while now and it's been months since I last heard one of her songs played on the radio.

In my opinion, Drake and Ariana Grande. Both have been famous for the entirety of the decade, and while the latter was initially only known as a side character from Victorious, she has since enjoyed probably the most consistently successful career of any regular pop singer this decade, not to mention her vocal style is a more quintessential representation of 2010s singers than her contemporaries.
