2001-2002 School Year - A Reflection

Major plot points and observations in bullet points.
The 2001-2002 School Year in the eyes of JOHN TITOR
. A rumor from last year that I was dating someone from the bad kids school has made the rounds to this September's first day of school (Damn rumors sure travel right ?)
. The first 3 days of school already feeling different (Fashion,Music,Atmosphere) a full 1 1/2 week before 9/11 hit.
. 9/11 hits and I think you know the rest, for the next 3 months all you saw were those tiny little mini flags from Walgreens
. Everyone and their dog thinks they can now drag race due to Fast & The Furious hitting the movie theater.
. The Word MILF becomes popular due to American Pie 2.
. Wet Naps are passed around the school for free, however my class uses them as squirt Gun weapons and they get banned lol
. A lot of people started tuning out of Toonami around this time. The Sayiaman Saga was lame guys.
. GTA 3 is a hit and very controversial, it is on the news 24/ 7
. Pop Punk phase 2 era starts, Sum 41 & Jimmy Eat World are huge, people start dressing in that fashion.
. I get MTV 2 for free by my cable provider, I also got Cinemax as well, Cable company (Comcast) were dumb asses for not noticing.
. Britney Starts her MATURE era, Slave 4 you is a damn bop folks !!!!!
. Gamecube is a flop from the GATE.... you get clowned for admitting you have this system
. I have my FIRST relationship EVER, its starts in the basketball court and gets heavy fast ( word travels fast in class over me losing my virginity)
. Yugioh makes a half assed attempt at becoming the next Pokemon..............It did not achieve that status folks.
. WWF is popular again for a short while due to the nWo coming back, everyone is excited Hulk Hogan is back in the WWF. Popularity fades after Backlash 2002
. Phone Party lines become popular again....... EVERYONE is on them ( it was our social media)
. Aol aim gets a virus and we all stay off for 1 day LOL only 1 day and we were back
. Web TV gets popular, I never ended up using it tho.
. Red Bull starts making buzz but it is still niche despite RED BULL GIVES U WINGS ads.
. English Class we had to read the Hobbit, Johnny Tremaine, Lord of the flies.
. In Art class people would always draw Cocks and get kicked out of class.
. I see Dragon Fly the movie in Feb and it becomes the worst and best movie of all time.
. I don't remember people being that excited for Star Wars episode 2. The hype was dead with this movie.
. Xbox starts getting a little more popular once Jet Grind Radio comes out.
. How You Remind Me" by Nickleback is played in every CVS you can imagine.
. Hype for Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings is insane, despite me not seeing them.
. IPOD launches but no one has one yet.
. Peak year for Malcolm in the Middle and Bernie Mac, thank u for making my Sunday nights exciting !
