It ended up being worse than we could’ve ever imagined LMAO Isnt the current recession a byproduct of Covid. It is simply not the same thing as the dotcom bubble, the 2008 crisis or the 2001 mini recession

It ended up being worse than we could’ve ever imagined LMAO Made 2008 look like a small speed bump, and we are still years away from getting back to normal. This was pretty much inevitable when America elected a Republican in 2016. Republicans destroy the U.S. economy every time they get elected. National and global events are much more volatile now than they were in the the late 2000s/early 2010s as well. It's going to be harder to come back from this one. I'm still predicting the 2020s are going to be this century's 'Great Depression.' I also think this is going to be a conservative decade with the end of abortion rights in the US and more significant crackdown against the LGBTQ community. This decade may even end up being the decade of the collapse of the US government and/or the breakout of a second civil war. To think if a few thousand more people would have voted for Hillary in 2016, we could have had a 'roaring 20s.' Elections have consequences and Americans will be living with the consequences of 2016 for the rest of our lives.

I wish this was only as bad as 2008. I wish that after Bush's "great" recession and Trump's "greater" recession, that would make people think twice about voting Republican. Unfortunately, it won't.
