This is so bizarre for me. Like I remember everything looking like this but it's also foreign.

I also want to add that Fall season felt weird in that it felt NEW and upbeat in a new adult energizing way and yet we had 9/11 and the aftermath at the same time, it was this weird almost polarizing at odds feeling.
We had so many cool new things coming up XBOX, Gamecube, new TV shows, NEW MUSIC but we also had the aftermath of tight security, anthrax paranoia etc

I'm honestly surprised it feels as chill as it does for being right after 9/11. It's crazy to think about how much otherwise hadn't happened yet.
Looks like this school makes this video every year.
Here's this year for comparison:
Soo different feeling. And most of the kids were born after the 2001 version.

I skimmed through a few different years and I thought that say, 2005, seemed significantly less far away and more the vibe I associate with the 00's. Though that may also be because I grew up a lot myself within that period. Meanwhile the vibe of the newest version doesn't feel crazy foreign from when I graduated earlier in the decade. Unfortunately the ones that would show the 00's to 10's transition are blocked.
