I thought this would be good, for something different. What are your favourite songs from the 2000s? Here are mine: * Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, Meteora & Minutes to Midnight albums (i'm not going to list every song). * "Hanging By a Moment" - Lifehouse * "Smooth Criminal" - Alien Ant Farm * "Sk8er Boi" - Avril Lavigne * "With Arms Wide Open" - Creed * "Where The City Meets The Sea" - The Getaway Plan * "No One Knows" - Queens of the Stone Age * "Dani California" - Red Hot Chili Peppers * "She Hates Me" - Puddle of Mudd (crap band, but great song IMO) Most of my favourite '00s songs were released in the Early 2000s.

Around 2010 music started to get good. Is this Becasue you can't remember the 00's? Because the early 2000s had good music, but after that I agree, 2010 was when music started getting good again.

I heard a lot of it and around the mid 200s it starts becoming awful. I agree, starting around late 03/04 I think music really went trash imo. It remained this way until late 08/09 when Electropop started becoming popular and replacing the trashy music of 2004-2008. (Excluding 2007)

Which songs? * "Hanging by a Moment" - Lifehouse * "Sk8er Boi" - Avril Lavigne * "With Arms Wide Open" - Creed * "Dani California" - Red Hot Chilli Peppers Interesting. I can understand why you may not know "She Hates Me" by Puddle of Mudd. Apparently, that song didn't even chart in New Zealand, which is really odd, considering that it peaked at #9 in Australia. You might know this Puddle of Mudd song instead: It peaked at #9 on the New Zealand charts. Oddly enough though, it wasn't even successful here. The Australian and New Zealand charts are always very similar to each other, so it's strange that one song (by the same band) was really successful in one country and not the other.

My top 10 for the decade... 10. Interesting to hear! System of a Down are actually one of my favourite bands. Just out of curiosity, do you own or have you ever listened to any of their albums?

Yep, surprisingly I own Toxicity, Steal This Album!, and Mezmerize. Most System of a Down fans I knew growing up were brodude-types, and to be frank, I don't listen to them a whole lot, but I've always found "B.Y.O.B." to be a total rollercoaster of a rocker that applies all of System of a Down's most identifiable assets to a significantly more dynamic composition than their usual faire. It's for the same reason that "Chop Suey!" and "Toxicity" are also fantastic songs, in my opinion, although I'm also a fan of "Prison Song."

My favourite System of a Down album would have to be Toxicity, although I like all of their albums almost equally.

Wow, really?! Yeah, I mainly know this song as it was played to a PlayStation game I used to play years ago.

I never owned the game, but one of my cousins used to have it and I used to play it occasionally. To be honest, I only re-discovered this song a few weeks ago.
