Having been born in '02 and spending most of my childhood in the 2000s, my nostalgia for the late 2000s has grown a lot over the past couple of years.

I don't like this song, but I can't believe it came out 10 years ago!

I remember during the late 2000s going through the early days of YouTube back when Fred was still popular, I would watch a bunch of AMV's of my favorite show and watch older shows I didn't know or watch about until then, and a lot of video game playthroughs and old video game unboxings and stuff like that. The music was actually really good imo, this part of the 2000s really started to shift to the electronic era of music by that time.
I used the computer a lot, which was like this old shcool big white computer where it took hella long just to load up a page...ahh good times lol. Also I went outside a lot, mostly with frineds, I rememebr really being into my old DS lite and the Wii when it first came out.
I remember my mom getting excited when Barack Obama became president and how importent and hopeful it was for the country, like there was a sign of new beginnings.
Television wise iffy. There were some good shows but not much, especially for Nick and Cartoon Network at the time. I honestly remember in 07 where I didn't even look forward to going home and watching TV later in the day as much as I use too because of the shows that were on. But over time it got better. (at least CN did)
2006 and 2007 to me didn't have as much as an identity besides songs compared to 2008 and 2009 did. Hopefully more nostalgia for the late 2000s happens like how the early 2000s is getting there's, it would be fair and the later part of the decade was honestly fun, especially for a kid. (Besides the recession of course lol)

(Besides the recession of course lol) I went on YouTube back in 2009 to watch videos of how to hack on Club Penguin. Almost everybody had a notepad to tell the instructions and the main theme song would always be Dreamscape by 009 Sound System. It does bring back memories listening to it. People call it the National YouTube Anthem lol

I grew out of Club Penguin when I was about ten and I started searching for other online games. Then I found this game named Pandanda (it closed five years ago) but I met unicornic on it and her username was "jb1912" because she was going through a Justin Bieber phase at the time xD.

My parents weren't big on the idea of me going on it and I was to goody two shoes to do it 😂 And that's sweet! I didn't go on any forum like thing till I was 14 back in...2014 😂 So I was late. And how could I mention late 00s nostalgia without justin Bieber 😂

Mind you, 2007 is my favourite year of my childhood, so that would influence my perception of the year.

I heard this song on the radio yesterday afternoon and it made me feel really nostalgic for 2007/2008.

Speaking of "Untouched", the song is slightly different in that video. I'm not sure if it was changed for overseas, but in the Australian release, there was a small guitar solo at the end of the song. Why did they have to remove it!
