I got the idea for this topic after a conversation I had with al, @slowpoke1993 and longaotian on the Popedia Discord chat about a week ago. Do you ever take notice of the songs that are playing when you enter into a store or a shopping centre? If so, what are some that you can remember?
When I walked into the KFC at Orange earlier today, "In Too Deep" by Sum 41 was being played through the speakers in the store. A strange choice of song really, but I wasn't complaining.
With that said though, that isn't one of the strangest song choices I have heard over the years:
* When I walked into the Oporto (a fast-food outlet) in South Nowra last year, "God Save The Queen" by the Sex Pistols was played through the loud speakers. Now that is absolutely bizarre!
* Korn's "Freak on a Leash" played in an EB Games store last year.
* Hearing System of a Down's "Lonely Day" in the Shellharbour Best 'N Less a couple of years ago.
