How would you rank the different types of entertainment (e.g music, movies, TV shows) in terms of how interested you are in them? As for myself, I have always had a big interest in music. I've never really been a movie buff or a video gamer, as such. TV Shows are really hit and miss for me. Here is how I would personally rank the different types of entertainment.
1. Music 2. Movies 3. Video Games 4. TV Shows

Probably kinda wrong putting TV down the bottom as I do watch quite a bit of it so if I could music and TV would tie for 3rd.
Here’s mine:
1. Movies 2. Video Games 3. Music 4. TV Shows

1. Music - There's never a moment wasted when it comes to my appreciation of music. I can listen to it during work, while running, in my car, and chilling at home alike. It gives my mind the opportunity to relax, and it breathes colour into a world that nowadays doesn't want it.
2. Movies - Usually, I strongly prefer movies over television because not only are they able to encapsulate full story and character arcs within a much shorter time, they always feel greater in scale and pacing.
3. Television - There are a few shows I adore, but for the most part, I prefer being able to enjoy my entertainment more flexibly, and the thought of getting through an entire series just tends to feel dauntingly time-consuming for me. I actually usually prefer watching little videos on YouTube.
4. Video Games. I used to love video games, but the industry has gotten incredibly stale and repetitive with cutscene-oriented macho shooters, and as a feminine woman, I feel completely unwelcome in the gaming community today.

1. Video Games: I play them almost everyday and have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I love talking an playing with online friends through gaming, and I tend to get really obsessed when it comes to learning about the worlds of video games. Just to give an example that's kind of sad, I've spent over 1000 hours just reading the in-game books, looking at uesp, and learning in general about the lore of The Elder Scrolls games. 2. Music: I've listened to music since I was a kid, but I only started getting really interested in early 2015. I'd say it's pretty close to how interested I am in video games at the moment. 3. Movies: Anytime I watch movies today, I get bored out of my mind, and that's not because I think they're bad today, I'm just not interested. I used to really like movies, but I only care about specific ones such as Star Wars now. 4. TV Shows: Watched a lot more TV as a kid, I watch Doctor Who and Star Wars Rebels today, but that's all I care about.

1. Video Games. Most my friends are gamers, and I primarily make friends through this medium.
2. Books. I experience so much emotion and thought through the books I read. I don't think any medium has changed my life as much as books.
3. TV Shows. I love watching them and getting caught in the hype! And then discussing in depth with my friends.
4. Music. Always puts me in a good mood (or a necessary sad mood). I love to dance as well to get out all that excess energy.
5. Movies. For whatever reason, I always found it hard to keep up with them. I find it difficult to sit for 2-3 hours straight with (often) no intellectual stimulation. I wish movies had commercial breaks so I could get up and walk around for a bit haha.

I'm not particularly a fan of movies either. I find it hard to become interested in them, because I can't get emotionally invested into the character/s. It's different from watching a TV series, where you can follow the series over the years and get to know the characters really well. I find that hard to do in just 2-3 hours.

I strongly agree. 2 hours is a really short time for character development. This is why I think most book-readers don't like movie adaptons of books. It's always "you missed this", "why would you skip that?", "you don't really understand her if you don't know about X" etc. And you know, they have a point! It feels rushed. That's why I really like TV shows this decade. A show like Game of Thrones has almost movie-like budgets and CGI effects, and it has the TV show format so you can get fleshed out stories and character development.

I adore books! I have 3 bookcases and containers for the books which I couldn't get on them.

Music: Music takes me to another place. I listen to my music when studying, working, and when I'm just having a bad day and need a song that will speak to me. Music is everything. It controls my mood and how I perceive things.
TV Shows: I love watching Netflix. My top 3 shows are Orange Is The New Black, 13 Reasons Why, and Stranger Things. I've binge watched almost all the episodes.
Video Games: I'm not a gamer girl, but I've played video games with my cousin who is a real gamer addict that plays Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, Super Mario, etc. He lets me play when we visit his house. I feel out of touch sometimes, but it's nice learning the game and getting my mind off other things.
Movies: Not particularly a fan of, there are many good movies I like but they aren't nearly as entertaining and exciting as say episodes. Movies are like episodes of a show all put together.

1. Music 2. Video Games 3. Movies 4. Books 5. TV-Shows
Plus, music plays a huge role within video games, movies, and tv-shows. Theme songs, epic dramatic music to keep you in suspense, etc.
