Yuck! I completely agree! Transmission fails are so common, even only after 10 Years of service, and whilst the V6 Alloytec (Australian Built Engine) was used in some products, itself was unreliable. The Barina TK was rubbish, as was the Epica (Epicfail sales wise  ), and the Cruze is just poorly made. It's such a shame that Holden went with a plethora of Daewoo products, rather than the tried and tested Opel cars they had previously. The Astra's (TS 98-05 & AH 04-09) are great cars, with far better handling dynamics and overall build quality. Some with the XC Barina. Holden has the Astra back now, which is a great car, but the damage has been done to the name and brand, sadly.
