lately i've been thinking about todays world and everything thats been going on...from climate change to mass shootings. we've had two mass shootings yesteday and one of these shooters was a racist trump supporter...these shootings are sooo normalized in america today but i really fear that someday a loved one will die in a shooting and there will be no precautions taken and then i will have to worry about going to school and getting killed while dealing with death at the same time. i really fear as an asian i will be the victim of white supremacy terrorism and get killed. i fear as a gay guy my right to marry will be taken away and i will not be allowed to show affection in public because of fear of getting killed. i fear that i won't be able to adopt and raise a child because i'm gay. i remember the pulse orlando shooting so clearly. it was so fucking scary. i was so frightened that i really wanted to change my sexuality because i didn't want to be a victim and i was really scared that i wouldn't be able to live very long. i fear that we wont make it to the 2030s due to climate change. i fear my mexican friends will get deported and never seen again... i fear that the president will get a 2nd term and the mass shootings and white supremacy terrorism will get worse and worse. america is going so fucking backwards and i'm so scared that we will repeat the 1950s all over again...

I'm going to be really honest. I don't think it's all of Trump's fault that he has some obnoxious fans, but what I don't like is the fact that he isn't calling them out. That's why they still continue because it's like he doesn't care.
That's probably one of the biggest reasons why I want him out of office. If he doesn't call them out anytime before the 2020 election then I'm going to have to vote for whoever is the Democratic nominee. As much as I disagree with them, I just want people to shut up about Trump. And I want these white nationalists to stop thinking that the president is on their side.

There are also a lot of racist non-whites as well. There are plenty of straight Christian people that aren't homophobic. I feel like you're just generalizing them all. They aren't all the same. Just like how there are atheists that are homophobic. They're all out there.

I hope these people are learning their lessons cause this shit crazy This is the new reality, unfortunately, and I can't see things ever changing in the US because gun ownership is so entrenched in American society. There is still a huge amount of people out there who believe guns are not the issue. If anything, I expect the circumstances to get worse. A Democrat being elected to the white house won't change people's existing perceptions of gun ownership.

I don’t think what you said is that bad. I recognize the increase in mass shootings recently, but I am doubtful it’ll go as far as taking your marriage & adoption rights away. Sure, our president is not exactly stable, but don’t forget he’s only in office temporarily! You will always find the bad in the good if you keep looking for it. Try to relax & don’t let the media scare you.
