John Titor Presents: 2006 The In Depth Retrospective

This is a retrospective @ one of John Titor's MOST CONTROVERSIAL years 2006............. there still seems to be confusion on what exactly happened in that year and what it felt like ....Get the FEEL on how each quarter was for John Titor personally. I  was at High school at the time so I have VAST knowledge of what the atmosphere felt like.





2006 - Q1

. At this point Myspace is the 1# website in the world beating Google in traffic
. Cartoon Network starts going down in quality
. Music being auto played on peoples myspace profiles is at an all time Nausea
. Speaking of Nausea flipping a T-Mobile Sidekick 2 is also vomit inducting at this time
. Rey Mysterio wins the Royal Rumble, what a Sh*t event
. Grillz goes mainstream and are sold in stores
. Best Buy has all sorts of crazy ass sales
. Xbox 360 mania is still running high
. EMOS everywhere guys everywhere
. James Blunt songs are played at Nausea in every CVS
. Everyones ringtone is T-pain's I am in love with a stripper  (thanks for inventing Auto tune)
. AOL aim keeps getting hacked
. Hannah Montana debuts and kicks of NEW Disney era.
. Ice Age: The Meltdown Kill myself
. The OC starting to suck

2006 - Q2
. SOS Rihanna is filling the airewaves and feels very upbeat
. I get piss drunk and piss high and go to see Tokyo Drift 
. I sat on my Xbox and it still works
. Vh1 goes out of control with it's reality shows
. Most Hot Topic stores smell like someone dropped a Sh*T
. Apple macbooks start to go more mainstream
.  Last time BEBE shirts were really a thing
. Sam Goody closes all of their stores
. Final episode of Malcolm in the Middle airs
. Final episode of That 70's show airs  (the show sucked in its last few seasons)
. Brooke Hogan is everywhere
. Youtube blows up
. 50 cent falls off
. Tab Soda is back
. everyone thinks it's 1985 for some reason
. REALLY Loud commercials are LOUDER then the TV show

2006 - Q3

. SexyBack debuts
. I go to WWE Summerslam at the TD Garden and watch Hulk Hogan break a hip
. Slide shows on Myspace get popular
. WWe RAW changes it's logo and theme
. Hipster Style slowly comes out of nowhere (no one is really wearing it yet)
. A few American Apparel stores launch around LA
. This school year feels weird and advanced
. WWE is so boring
. The Grudge 2, what a shitty movie
. 90s nostalgia starts getting big online
. Hips Don't Lie SHAKIRA !
. Fergie's - London Bridge kicks off the school year
. Whats worse then Nickleback?  HINDER



2006 - Q4

. Smartphone debuts with BlackBerry Pearl ( A few people in class have one)
. People are camping outside to sell PS3 on Ebay for 1K
. Wii launches and I laugh my ass off at the graphics
. Sonic The Hedgehog loses all popularity with Sonic 2006 for Xbox 360.
. Everyone quoting BORAT
. Ed Hardy everything
. HD TV's start to get more popular
. Windows Vista BETA out
. I see Mac ads on TV
. Paris Hilton can sing now
. TMZ blows up
. Britney and Kevin break up
