Which is better? 2000s or 2010s?
Trying to prove a point.

You don't need a thread to prove that 75% of people on here were born in the 90's and are extremely nostalgic for the 2000's and prefer that than today.

2000s. They are my childhood decade and the decade that I will always have the most nostalgia for. Being 8-9 years old in 2007-2008 was great!

Overall I prefer the 2010s. Specifically 2010-2016. I was 9-15 in those years. The 2013-15 era I was slightly more aware of as a result of being in my early teens and girls, but now that I'm older and seeing kids who were born in 2014 going back to school shopping, I feel old

It was a tough pick but I'm going to have to go for the slight edge to 2010s.

Yeah and we're both obviously being somewhat biased because we grew up in the 2010's, but the 2010's are just better when it comes to music, movies, and technology. 2010's politics I definitely don't like though, especially late 2010's politics.

You all have terrible tastes (just kidding). The two other people who voted for the 2000s know what was truly the better decade.

I miss aspects of the 2000’s but early 10’s was lyfe.
Being a kid in the 00’s was fine but I’m glad I wasn’t a teen for that long.

Yeah, it's time for the old man to step up to the plate here and talk about why everything was better back in my day. As somebody who was a teenager and young adult during the '00s, the '00s were better than the '10s any way you look at it.
The '00s had considerably better video games, with the modern gaming market being dominated by generic shooters and companies making you spend hundreds of more dollars on downloadable content after you've already bought the game. The '00s had better movies, with the '10s being way too dominated by super hero movies and re-makes of stuff that came out years ago. The '00s had better TV, particularly earlier during the decade when plenty of iconic shows from the late '90s were still during their primes. The '00s were also a better time to be a teen because social media was so new that it didn't dominated our lives the way it has this decade, meaning that teens could still make mistakes and not have the entire country find out about it like it does during the modern era.
Of course, I'm biased, given that I primarily grew up during the '90s and '00s, so I favor those years over the current era.
