I was a 5 year old kid. Definitely have a lot of vivid memories from 2004, although I couldn't tell you what exactly I was doing during November of that year. Too long ago.

2004/2005 academic year was when the 2000s turnt up to the max. Yupp that Fall so much Fu*ckery started happening LOL Crunk movement was at its max as well as Krumping (that was a scary fad) Myspace was like crack when it started popping up that fall I remember every weekend I would get into the movies for because my friend would print FAKE movie tickets and they would not have the tech to scan them yet, so we would keep getting in for free LMAO I remember that November was chilly as hell

Simple Plans “Welcome To My Life” was very emo as well.

I would’ve made fun of that computer lmao it looks old for then. The jeans were getting really flared and those 70’s style tight graphic tees were very in. Actually, the 70’s were definitely having a moment, especially with the long straight hair. (Ashton Kutcher’s hair in That 70’s Show, anyone?) I’m almost wondering if this is what the early 00’s surf look turned into. You could see the early 00’s goth look becoming emo around this time. While you’d still see Tripp pants, it was getting softer. Converse were finally losing their 90’s image and becoming cool again.

The main story during November 2004 would have been the Bush versus Kerry presidential election, which is the last presidential election where I didn't vote.
This is my senior year of high school. I was playing a lot of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas back then, as I had gotten that game only a few weeks before. I also watched a lot of the WB teen shows back then. Things were actually still pretty classic back then. I didn't have my own mobile phone yet, and I hadn't heard about MySpace yet, so it was certainly still pre-social media to me. I had a DVD player, but still used my VCR quite a bit to record stuff off TV.
This era has started to seem quite dated these days. The pop culture of back then seems a lot cheesier compared to the modern era's much more serious tone. I do miss the laid back vibe things had back then. This, to me, is also the last great era of video game consoles before online gaming and shooter became too dominant over the next years.
