I went to 5th grade. This is when Facebook was in and MySpace was uncool. Where is Tik Tok by Kesha? That song was everywhere in that time.

This is the last year the majority were still in bootcut jeans. The over-the-top thing you still might’ve seen in 08 and 09 is way toned down though. Notice there aren’t really the emo esque hairstyles, heavy eyeliner, etc. These pics are verging on normcore since the 10’s identity wasn’t super clear yet.

After coming straight from a bunch of Mid-Late 2010s atmosphere threads, this does feel quite strange -alot older. I guess this was the very first month of the decade though.
