Have you ever been in the audience during a taping of a TV show?
I went to Letters and Numbers in 2011, Family Feud in 2015, and in the same year Australia's Got Talent.
I've always wanted to be in a live studio audience of an American sitcom, maybe one day!

No I haven't. I'm not sure if I would really want to go to one though. Going to a game show live taping would probably be interesting.

Yep. I went along to one for TAYG many years ago but that’s it though.

I know this is a bit of a late response, but I only thought of this a few minutes ago. How long did the tapings generally go for? Was it an all-day thing? Also, did the hosts/panelists of the show ever interact with the audience when they weren't shooting?

When I went to Letters and Numbers, Richard Morecroft was talking to a few of us before and after the show he gave us a tour of the set which was nice. In Family Feud, Grant didn't do much except say things like are you ready!!! Both of those tapings went for around 4 hours because they taped multiple episodes. AGT went for about 5 hours. Judges didn't really talk to the audience except the ones behind them.

It must have been the most exciting thing about the whole experience. As for "Family Fued", i'm not surprised to hear that Grant Denyer interacted with the audience in the manner that he did; I could definitely picture him saying that, lol.
