Yeah I generally don’t care what it was like where you lived. I just know 2013 wasn’t just full of hipsters. The only places where you would ever see anyone dress like the people in the original post are in inner-city "Hipstervilles", not standard suburbia. I was in High School at the time these pictures were taken and I know for a fact that no one dressed in that style outside of school.

Depends on where you live, if you lived in Brooklyn for example in the mid 2010s all you would see it Hispters everywhere you go, but if you lived somewhere like Dallas or maybe like Wisconsin (where trends are slower to integrate) things might look a lil more less extreme. 2013 in general was a hybrid year, Electropop being phased out and mid 2010s trends slowly creeping in, personally I thought 2013 was a ok year, nothing special nothing bad either. Yeah I generally don’t care what it was like where you lived. I just know 2013 wasn’t just full of hipsters. Once again it depends on where you live, your life could be full of hipsters if you live in an area that is full of hipsters. www.thecut.com/2013/12/2013-another-year-of-the-effing-hipster.htmlwww.businessinsider.com/we-found-where-the-hipsters-are-coming-from-2013-9

I wouldn't say that there was ever a time or place when the majority of people dressed like hipsters though. It was very much a niche movement and not something that was adopted by the mass population.

Brooklyn New york, The Hipster movement was not a niche movement lmao it was adopted in fashion and in commercials on television. Not 100% of people dressed like this tho obv but a good deal of people did.

I never said hipster was the main thing of 2013 but in many places in the United States it did have a profound impact on culture, you claim to not care where I was in 2013 (New York the 1# place where fashion trends are founded besides Paris)but still say it did not have that much of an impact lmao. I am giving you concereate proof via Articles that in 2013 Hipster made a HUGE impact, this is not for debate I legit sent your articles backing up my claims. Once again I am not saying Hipster was the end all be all, of course there was other stuff happening, but the Hipster sub culture (like Grunge in the 90s) permeated in culture.

I thought i said i didn’t care? You are saying hipster was not important in 2013 and yet I am giving you evidence that it was and then you retort that you "don't care" when compelled with evidence. Cool you don't care.

Cool you don't care. Yet you provided evidence that didn’t deflect my point lol. That’s an excuse that I didn’t have to care.

Ahh yes, the "twee" look that was so popular 2012-14. Like a cutesy subgenre of hipster. Now popular may seem like an exaggeration, because it was actually kind of its own niche. Yet it managed to infect most clothing stores at least a little bit. The cutesy collared shirts, those little bows. Perhaps more of a detail than a standout in the collective consciousness. But it was definitely there. See Taylor Swift's Red era.
2013 was a huge year for hipster. Did everyone ever look like this? No, because the majority of people are somewhat middle aged and look like plain moms and dads. Could you go to a certain bar or school art club and find that everyone looked like this? Yes, yes you could. In fact, you still can. But it's toned down and frankly, we are used to these looks enough that they don't stand out too wildly.
