The late 2010s are almost at an end and I would just like to wonder how it went for you. Was it terrible, okay or great for you in personal life? Was the popular culture better or worse then you initially thought?
For me personally, the late 2010s have been alright so far except for 2017. The pop culture though is the worst in the decade plus the music and the latest trends are pretty mediocre compared to the early and mid 2010s. These past 2 and a half years have had their ups and downs for me. That's all I have to say.

It was decent. Personal-wise, 2017 was an amazing year for me. 2018 was good. 2019 was decent.
In terms of pop culture, it's the same way IMO. Lil Nas X saved music for me this year tbh.

2019 may be the end of the numerical late 2010s, but 2020 could possibly be a cultural late 2010s year. They're awful

While 2017 great the rest sucked. I don’t think the late 2010s wasn’t the best or the worse. Just wasn’t good imo.

The music was awful except for a handful of songs. Movies and gaming were good though.

Just another boring, shitty time period we live in. Nothing's new. Everyone's still offended at everything. Music sucks.

Its ok. Not the best time for politics that's for sure. The music sounds the same it did 2 years ago.

The late 2010s have been the best part of this decade. BTW 2019 is still not over yet so can't really call it complete yet.
The early 2010s were nice butttttt.... they were lacking something, I don't know if it was because of the recession or something, but it just had this void that was created when the 2008 crash happened.

For me personally, the Late 2010s have had their fair share of ups and downs. In 2017, I was in my final year of high school and studying for my HSC exams. That in itself brought a lot of pressure and stress. Late last year, my Dad was arrested and sentenced to serve time in prison. It's something my family and I will ever be able to never move on from. However, in saying all that, I have a lot of good memories associated with catching up with my friends and going on holidays, so the era hasn't been all doom and gloom.
I have been pretty underwhelmed by the pop culture of this era though. I don't know whether it's the fact that I simply haven't been in high school for most of it, but in terms of overall quality, I personally believe the Late 2010s pale in comparison to the other two eras of this decade. Of course, that in itself is not exactly a high endorsement, but I digress.
