I have always seen 2007 as being mid-2000s culturally. Not really, 2007 does have a lingering mid 00s feel but it felt more late 00s. I agree that years that end with 7 have an identity crisis just like years that end with 3. 2007 only felt mid until like March and it was over

The recession hadn't started, rock was still in it's prime, Bush was president, CRT-TVs, MySpace was the way to go, and most TV shows were still in 480p SD resolution.

Late 2007 felt very late 00s to me simply because I moved from NYC to NC and it was when Souja Boy was dominating the airwaves.

No it won't. 2018-2019 will be underrated because they'll be like 2018-2019 was the start of early 2020s culture, repeat. Kendrick made 2017 memorable.

Looking back on 2017. It was actually fun, i remember the switch and Odyssey hype and how fun it was. I also got a switch in December of that year, the fidget spinner hype too lol. Even though 2016 was the last great year of the 2010s (IMO) 2017 was honestly the last fun one honestly it was the most funnest year imo.
