These threads are better when they're caught from the perspective of someone who was young enough to tune in with culture. That last one was more stereotypical than accurate. I’m glad i wasn’t the only one on that. I work for E! Network

The first half of 2013 was the last period where it had an early 2010s vibe. This was really an exciting time for pop culture. The quality of those photos look hella dated. Yeah, 2013 is definitely dated today IMO. I can’t imagine something like the 7th picture and the 2nd to last picture being taken in even 2017.

In 2013, I celebrated Valentine's Day with my family who originated from Mexico. I remember 2013 vividly.

This is very early 2010's and gives a strong early Instagram and late peak Facebook vibe. A few things could still pass as current I guess but the overall vibe is different now.

My oldest sister was the biggest fan of 1D back in 2013. I know so many 1D songs thanks to her! Fucking hate that girly ass band. It was nothing but a bunch of white girls fawning over Harry Styles. Thank God that band is dead. I'm white and I love him because he's cute and he sings good

Thank God that band is dead. This is so stereotypical but so true. I went to a predominately black school & never saw a black girl fangirling over Harry Styles, but I saw so many white girls do the same thing.
