ALL OF THIS! I am a light skin black girl and I know for a fact that I benefit from light skin privilege because, despite being a person of color, my level of discrimination does NOT compare to the injustices my darker skin peers faced. If I apply for a job, I am more likely to get hired over my dark skin sisters. I can turn on the television and see people with my same complexion represented. To light skin black people: YOUR EXPERIENCE IS NOT THE SAME AS YOUR DARKER SKIN PEERS! USE YOUR PRIVILEGE TO UPLIFT THEIR VOICES AND SHUT UP WHEN YOUR DARK SKIN FRIEND TALKS ABOUT COLORISM. Trans women of color have it the worst. The average life expectancy for trans woman of color is 35 years old because they're the most frequent homicide victims in america. Black lgbt people have it harder because the black community is still big on homophobia so being black and coming out is harder than being white and coming out.Sorry, but I strongly disagree with this. It really depends more on how your family is and where you live, and especially how religious and conservative they are. There are black families that are more progressive and liberal and probably wouldn't mind. They're pretty common in the Northern States. There's also white families that literally believe that being gay is a sin because of some bible or whatever and probably wouldn't be as accepting. I do get where you're coming from but I don't think that's the right way to look at it.

My asian dad is the most accepting person you could think of. You cannot just factor it all down to race when you gotta factor other stuff too.

Black people are the most religious demographic because of their history of slavery and ties to christianity. So the religious part still follows with us today. Now on your part about geographic, that's not always the case. Lots of homophobes live in the north (my parents, and they happen to be black and boomers) it's all about culture. My parents grew up in the middle east where gay people are killed for who they are, so on their part it's normal to think that (its not, but you get the picture) black culture heavily involves religion and religious homophobes are common. Yes this happens to white families but on average the black community and religious community is more homophobic than the white community.

That's not what I said. Most black people grow up in households that take on traditional religious values because it's the way cultures been in black families for years. It's not just race but theres no denying it plays a big part in it

I'm about to go to bed but I'm just gonna give my final thoughts on this. I think the term "white privilege" is very vague and as prodanny288 said, there's a lot of other factors that it would be hard to just pinpoint it down to race because there's privileges that I believe are way more beneficial than just being "white". For example, I would think that an extremely attractive black or Asian woman would get treated better than an extremely ugly white woman. I mean, we judge a lot by looks and skin color isn't the whole entire picture. It's just the way things are.

Funnily enough, I’m white & in a relationship with a black man. Interracial relationships are common with black/white & white/asian, but I rarely see a black girl and a white guy holding hands together. Weirdly enough, I see so much of the reverse. There's 2 reasons for that. 1 is the way black women are portrayed in the media. They're unfairly stereotyped for being "loud" "masculine" "angry black woman" 2 is the number of self hating black men in the black community who wouldn't date someone that looks like their mama because they're self hating anti black. They rather date light skinned and white girls because in their belief it's "prettier" and they typically sexualize mixed race/biracial girls. Colorism is something nobody talks about but it needs to be addressed. This literally makes no sense. There is nothing racist about having sexual preferences. Not every woman is entitled to my glorious pee pee.

Yes, white privilege DOES! exist. Basically.
White people are near immune to racism, it ultimately won't have any relevance on them in the long run as it would a darker skin person. White people are so priority, racism is like a joke to them. Asians come 2nd, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese.

Obviously yes and plenty of studies have shown that, down to the very basic observation that there are still stark devides of incomes and wages between whites and non-whites in most of the Western world.

Saved from themselves because others assume they are self-haters. I'm reminded of some friendship that well, I'm not sure I could say it officially ended, but well, I've been too scared to actually talk to him every time he's online on Discord. Still secretly hope we still patch it up though. You see, every other conversation between us wound up devolving into "you're socially awkward and you have white fever." Then again, he is a white Koreaboo, so there's probably an aspect of "you're exactly the race I wish I was and yet you're not basking in it the way I would be."

I've been too scared to talk about certain things in front of him 'cause I know he will flip out if I say the wrong thing.
