I've always wondered what number would count as "a few" or "several". What do you guys think?
I've always thought a few meant three or four. Like if someone said "He/She's a few years older than you" I usually think of someone about three years older. I think of several like more than two but less than six or seven, since two usually means a couple. So I think three and four could go either way. IMO five is definitely a "several" number.

To me, a few would be anything between the numbers of 2-5, while several would be 5+.

Much the same. a “few" and "several" would be considered 3-4 and 5+ respectively in most instances. My favourite prime number is 25. Okay, thanks for sharing that.
