N64 only had about 12 games worth playing, PS1 wins by a landslide. Really? The N64 had way more than 12 games worth playing. I agree, the PS1 wins if there has to be this ‘vs. debate’. Seems I’m in the minority on here, but I had slightly more overall enjoyment out of the N64 system back in the day (that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy the PS1 however).

I never owned an original N64 but had a PS1, and I enjoyed the PS1 back then but these days when I use an N64 emulator, I enjoy the games on that console more than the PS1.

Not going to front tho Wave Race 64 and Star Fox 64 were nice lol I remember not liking Star Fox 64. Wave Race 64 was alright. Mickey Mouse Speedway was legit.

I owned an N64 and a close friend had a PS1 (which they gave me years later). I used to play on both systems quite a bit back in the day and enjoyed what they had to offer. The PS1 definitely had some great games on it but I still think after all these years the N64 just had more memorable games with higher replay value. Yes, without a doubt the PS1 won the war back in the day with much bigger sales and many more games made for it, but for me the N64 won. Not going to front tho Wave Race 64 and Star Fox 64 were nice lol I remember not liking Star Fox 64. Wave Race 64 was alright. Mickey Mouse Speedway was legit. Star Fox 64 (though it was actually titled Lylat Wars for us in PAL regions) and Wave Race 64 were awesome games!
