I honestly can't stand McDonald's anymore, their cheeseburgers are horrendous. I think your main problem here is that your getting cheeseburgers lol.

Mcdonalds is still as popular over here, and im not surprised - they're usually very consistent in terms of the quality of their food.

I think McDonald's is still very popular but i see people starting to hate McDonald's because of the impact on your health. Chick fil and panera on the other hand are seen as much more healthier fast food restaurants.

I still go to McDonald's sometimes. I know it's not really good for you but I still enjoy going there from time to time.

I don’t hear about nearly as many people going there anymore, same goes for BK. Maybe for dollar coffee. People are more knowledgeable about nutrition now and are increasingly having special dietary requirements. Even other fast food restaurants, like Chipotle, seem like far better choices to most these days.

Just went to McDonald’s an hour ago and there were only a few other people eating there and I live just outside a decently large city. So yeah, despite it being the largest fast food chain by far I can see its decline in popularity.

Well, Chic-fila-a is just starting to expand before it was only in the southern United States. al said they don't have a chicfila in her town. McDonald's definitely not as popular as it was in the 90s-00s but it's still the biggest fast-food chain in the United States.

McDonald's fired its CEO for having a consensual relationship with one of his employees. Apparently he was a successful CEO and McDonald's was doing well, so I guess the answer to the thread is yes.

I used to like McDonalds in the early-mid 2000s, but then hated the food ever since. The fish filet sandwich made me threw up.

I'm not sure if McDonalds over in North America and New Zealand have ran a similar promotion in the past, but here in Australia, we currently have a "30 Days, 30 Deals" promotion where you can buy something for a cheaper price if you order through the McDonalds app. For instance, today might have a special offer where you can buy a cheeseburger for only $1, while tomorrow you could get six chicken nuggets for only about $4. I've never used the app myself, but one of my friends uses it all the time and I think the promotion is definitely encouraging people to continue going to Macca's instead of elsewhere.

I really think these fast food apps need to be banned or tightly regulated. Now McDonald's can tailor-make coupons for you to keep you hooked by observing your eating habits. The obesity crisis continues unabated.
