Yeah, it should also be noted, if it hasn't already, that November 2004 is considered by some to be the single greatest month in video game history. And that's hard to argue, given that we had Halo 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Jak 3, Metroid Prime 2 and Ratchet and Clank 3 coming out that month. And I had only gotten Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas shortly before that too. What an awesome era to be a video gamer. Halo 2's launch was huge, everyone wanted to play it, even people who didn't give a F about video games. San Andreas was amazing! I didn't like the new SLIM ps2 that launched around that time tho, it just looked worse then the original fat model. The DVD player in it was suppose to be fault free.

Yeah, I waited in line at Babbages game store, when there were actually video game stores other than Game Stop, when Halo 2 first premiered to get that game. The media coverage was huge.

HALO 2 was HUGEEEEEEEE, I liked the weapons in it as well, HALO 2 was like almost on par with GTA popularity at the time, I remember it was on drinks, billboards, Taxis you name it. HALO HALO HALO!

Can you also do an atmosphere thread that takes place in the 80s? It would be fun to see what the 80s were really like!

One of my best ever memories took place in Late 2004. I was having a bath early in the evening on Christmas Eve at home, and then my Mum walked into the bathroom to tell me that someone was here to see me. They walk down the hallway towards the bathroom and it turned out that it was my Dad! I knew nothing about it. My Dad had decided to stay here for the night, which meant that it was the first and only time that I got to experience Christmas Eve with both my parents. I grew up in a single-parent household, so it meant so much to me. Can't believe it's been 15 years!
