This is a test. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see this?

Devil horns. Used by rock fans. I prefer to use the I love you sign (the same sing but with the thumbs pointed outwards) but it depends on the song playing.

Just a party-related gesture.

Sorry, I had planned on explaining the reason behind me creating this topic, but it seems as though I accidentally forgot to do so. Anyway, the reason for it is due to something my friend spoke to me about a few months ago. He did volunteer work at our old primary school early in the year and he explained to me that kids in primary schools now (at least over here anyway) are being taught in class to use that hand symbol to report bullies.
I decided to create this thread because I was interested in finding out whether or not it was a generational thing and how it was perceived in other countries. To me, that's the rock symbol and I've always known it as that. I can definitely see though how it could be perceived as being something totally unrelated. I mean, kids in primary school are living in an era where rock is no longer culturally relevant in the mainstream. They would have a completely different experience to the one I personally had when I was in primary 10-15 years ago.

The first thing I think is the extreme metal community and their obsession with satanic imagery

Once I did this in elementary school and a Arabic girl got really mad at me and said it meant the devi. But to this day it still means rock n roll to me
